Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Setunox VPN handles information when you use the Setunox VPN app and related services.
Who operates Setunox VPN
Setunox VPN is provided by the Setunox team. For privacy questions, contact support@setunox.com.
VPN traffic handling
When you connect, Setunox VPN creates a VPN tunnel and routes device network traffic through Setunox VPN servers.
- No activity logs: we do not collect logs of your online activity while you are connected.
- No browsing records: we do not log browsing history, traffic destinations, data content, or DNS queries.
- No connection logs: we do not store logs of your IP address, outgoing VPN IP address, connection timestamp, or session duration.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we use basic account information such as your account identifier, email address when available, and display name to create and manage your Setunox account.
- Subscription and service status: we use your account status, subscription status, and entitlement checks to confirm whether your account has VPN access.
- Device information: we may receive limited technical information such as your platform and operating system version to support compatibility and service reliability.
- Crash and diagnostics: production crash reports and technical diagnostics may be collected to find and fix app stability issues.
- VPN configuration: the app requests temporary VPN configuration needed to start a VPN connection. Sensitive VPN configuration stored on Android is kept in encrypted local storage when persistence is needed.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and keep your session active.
- Provision VPN access and generate connection configuration.
- Detect outages, abuse, fraud, or security issues.
- Provide support and respond to account deletion requests.
- Improve app stability and performance.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers for Google sign-in, authentication, hosting, and diagnostics. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy commitments. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to secure the service.
Security
Setunox uses encrypted network transport for app API communication. The Android app disables backup for app data and stores sensitive local VPN configuration using encrypted preferences backed by Android Keystore when available.
Retention
Account and service records are kept while your account is active. Some records may be retained for a limited period after deletion when needed for security, troubleshooting, accounting, or legal compliance.
Your choices and account deletion
You can request deletion of your Setunox account and associated app data using the in-app account deletion feature or the public deletion instructions at setunox.com/account/delete.
Children
Setunox VPN is not intended for children. Do not use Setunox VPN if you are not old enough to consent to this policy in your location.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app, backend, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
